One important thing to understand about this question is that 350cc breast implants may increase the breast size of one woman quite differently than on another. Since the body of every woman is unique, of course, breast implants once placed may have a different effect on you than on some breast implant photo you found on the internet. Only your plastic surgeon can adequately explain what this breast implant size will specifically impact your breast. We can, however, arrive at some estimation of how a breast implant of that size will grow your breast size based upon a few important factors.
1) What breast size do you currently have?
2) Will the breast implants be placed above or under the muscle?
3) What profile of breast implants will you use, low, moderate, or high?
To the first point of current bra cup size, you might estimate a 350cc breast implant to increase your breast size by approximately 2 cups. As a very general rule of thumb, it is often considered that for every 175cc to 200cc in breast implant volume, a woman might experience approximately one bra cup size larger. The 350 therefore would fall into the low range of increasing your breast size by about two cups. If you currently wear a AA cup bra today, growing two cup sizes would be in the range of a C cup, for example.
The second mentioned factor of breast implant profile is important, especially in regards to your breast width. If you have a smaller bra band size such as a 32 to 34inch, for example, a higher profile breast implant is generally used in order to achieve a C cup in bra size. In general, the higher the profile, the smaller the width is of the breast implant. For women with a 36 or 38 inch bra band, a lower profile may generally be recommended.
The last factor mentioned above regards the placement of the breast implants. Most women decide to have the breast implant placed under the muscle. In this case, a slightly larger implant is needed to achieve the same result as a breast implant placed over the muscle. Many doctors suggest that the difference between the two placements may be as much as 15 to 20 per cent. In other words, a 350cc breast implant under the muscle will likely be similar to 300cc over the muscle due to the compression of the implant under the muscle.
One very good way to preview how your own breasts will be impacted with breast implants is to use a breast implant sizing system. The new systems available today allow you to try on a wide variety of breast implant sizes before you make your final decision.
In this case you might want to try a range of sizers from 300cc to 400cc in 50cc increments. Breast implant sizers, otherwise known as tester breast implants, are designed to be worn outside your body but within a bra. Designed with similar volume to corresponding breast implants, the sizers will give you a good idea of how these sizes will increase your bra size.
After trying the implant sizers you might like the look and feel of a given breast implant size, for example 400cc or 375cc. After you show your plastic surgeon the sizer in your breast sizing bra, they might suggest that they will need to use a larger breast implant size to achieve the same effect as the sizer. This might especially be true if you are having your breast implant placed under the muscle. Again, generally speaking, if you like a 400cc size, your surgeon might suggest to use as much as 15 to 20 percent larger in the actual breast implants to achieve a similar look as the sizer.
These are all general estimates, of course. Only you and your doctor can make the decision on how a specific breast implant size, with a specific profile will augment the size of your breasts.
Now you can void the most common mistake in breast enlargement by choosing the right breast implant sizes the first time with the Purlz Breast Sizing System.

Recent statistics from the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery show that American men underwent 20,280 male breast reduction procedures in 2007. Statistics from the UK now show a 44% increase in male breast reductions between 2007 and 2008
More and more young men are opting for this simple procedure. “There has been quite a surge in the number of enquiries of the patient asking for Gynecomastia surgery” says Dr Ruchika from Indicure. We have witnessed a sharp increase in the number of foreign patients coming to India for Gynecomastia surgery combined with Liposuction on other body parts” according to Dr Ruchika from Indicure.
With increasing consciousness among young men to look good for their career reasons and to woo the ladies, men do not like to take a chance. A simple surgery to get rid of women like breasts at an affordable cost in India is a very lucrative offer to them.
Gynecomastia occurs in as many as 40 % of men. This is a fairly common condition in teens as well. The cause is not always known, but the incidence increases with certain drugs (digitalis, anabolic steroids, Tagamet, and spironolactone), use of marijuana or alcohol.
Sometimes also linked to obesity, but more often a simply physical flaw in average sized men, gynecomastia is often treated with liposuction and with a surgical procedure named gynecomasty- also known as breast reduction for men. This procedure removes the extra fibrous tissue that cannot be removed by liposuction. The result is a flatter, firmer and more masculine-looking chest.
The surgery is straightforward; it offers a quick remedy to the discomfort, physical and social, that the patient suffers.
The patient is first given general anesthesia or intravenous sedation, so they are perfectly comfortable and do not experience any pain. Following that, a small incision at the base of the areola is made and unwanted fat and glandular tissue is removed in the breast with ultrasonic liposuction.
The process of removing fat and tissue takes approximately one to two hours, depending on the amount of breast tissue to be removed. Postoperatively, the patient experiences little pain. The patient needs to wear a snug-fitting compression vest for 1 to 3 weeks. The patient may shower the day after surgery, perform light activites, drive and return to work when they feel comfortable, usually within a week after surgery. They may begin exercise within 7-10 days.
Considering the straightforward nature of gynecomastia surgery, the quick and painless recovery as well as the natural appearance of the breasts afterwards, it’s no wonder why men increasingly are opting to have the condition surgically reversed, rather than suffer from the embarrassment and distress that often comes from markedly enlarged breasts.

Modern advances in cosmetic and plastic surgery have enabled us to increasingly elect to undergo corrective or enhancive procedures to improve our physical appearance. Surgical options are manifold and can be carried out for a number of reasons.
One of the most popular forms of elective cosmetic surgery is breast augmentation, as recent statistical analysis demonstrates. Figures reveal that of 34,100 procedures carried out in the UK in 2008, 8,439 were breast augmentations - up 30 per cent on 2007. Although women dominated cosmetic demand in 2008, electing to undergo 31,183 of the nation’s total procedures, the figures also reveal an increase in the number of men opting for surgery.
Breast reduction surgery has become a popular choice for both men and women - with the procedures called gynecomastia and mammoplasty respectively. Breast reduction figures for 2008 for men and women constituted 3,845 - a rise of 13 per cent on the previous year. In total, these figures reveal an increase of 44 per cent to a total 323 procedures undertaken by men in 2008.
These conclusive results reveal the growing appeal that cosmetic surgery has for both men and women.
The overall aim of breast reductive surgery is the same for both sexes – to reduce the size of the breasts. The reasons for why men and women may consider breast reduction are not dissimilar, although surgical procedure varies slightly between the two.
For women, reducing the size of their breasts may be a constitutionally healthy objective. Breasts that outsize a woman’s frame can cause a number of physical discomforts. Not only can they preclude participation in exercise, they can also cause sore back, neck and hands, excess sweating, and headaches.
Both men and women can experience an increase in the size of their breasts because of hormonal imbalances. Women may find their beasts increase in size during the menopause, or while undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Men too may experience abnormal growth of glandular breast tissue because of hormonal imbalance.
For men, excess breast tissue can also form through excessive intake of alcohol, use of bodybuilding drugs and dramatic weight loss, leaving skin saggy and oversized around the breast area.
Whether male or female, however, abnormally or uncomfortably enlarged breasts can result in a negative psychological impact on their lives, leaving breast reduction an attractive option for many.
The surgical procedure for men and women involves the removal of excess fat, glandular tissue and skin to realise more suitably sized breasts, with the nipple repositioned appropriately. However, whereas for women the breasts are reshaped and resized, the procedure for men centres on flattening the breast area.
The procedure takes roughly one and a half hours for men, but can take considerably longer for women with recovery time generally taking up to four weeks. Furthermore, during the recovery period men will wear a compression vest, whilst women will wear a sports bra.
There are relatively few side effects for men as there are for women, who may experience nipple insensitivity and will be unable to breast feed. However, many successful breast reduction candidates will testify that their outcomes far outweigh their expectations, with their new reduced breasts enabling them to lead the lives they’d been waiting for.

The World Health Organization defines health as a “state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
Apparently, a good or a perfect physical appearance actually contributes a lot in enhancing mental health and social well-being. The research studies that have assessed the effects of cosmetic surgery on patients support the fact that the cosmetic surgeries do enhance the quality of life.
Interestingly, a prospective co relational study of 105 patients undergoing elective cosmetic surgery, ‘Quality-of-life outcomes after cosmetic surgery’ -Rankin M, Borah GL, Perry AW, Wey PD, Quality-of-life outcomes after cosmetic surgery. Plast Reconstr Surg, 1998; 102:2139-2145. PubMed’, came out with the multivariate analysis data that showed positive psychological benefits on the patients post surgery. The parameters of quality-of-life index, depression, social support, and coping were determined preoperatively and at 1- and 6-month intervals postoperatively.
“That is absolutely true as we’ve always witnessed the happiness and excitement in our patients post surgery recovery. Positive changes are, generally, reported in patients’ social lives, professional lives, sex lives, leisure activities, and relationships. Whether or not you’ve undergone a surgery, cosmetic surgeries are always known to have made people look younger and better. However, it’s equally important to know the psychological and social benefits of cosmetic surgery. It can do a lot for a person’s self esteem and or happiness i.e. reversing the depression, improvement in attitude, relationships, and overall enhancement in the quality of life”, says Anthony Giudice, Cosmetic Harmony Sales Supervisor.
Cosmetic Harmony, one of the leading medical tourism companies in Colombia, has been providing state-of-the-art facilities in various cosmetic surgery procedures.
“However, surgery is a big decision and has to be done only after a proper research on the procedure and about whether the facilitating organization has reached their expertise level or not. We have successfully performed all the procedures from a face lift to breast implant to butt lift to liposuction to vaginoplasty and many more. We’ve been witnessing an increase in our clientele from all over the world and have always delivered our best.” Giudice informs.

A terminally ill girl’s wish to go for the cosmetic surgery procedures to look like Demi Moore making headlines in all the leading newspapers is still fresh on people’s memory.
A recent telephonic survey compiled by ASPS (The American Society of Plastic Surgeons) reveals that the cosmetic surgery procedures now appear to be an important key to success for nearly a 15 million US women in workforce.
A documentary film, Smile Pinki, based on the story of an eight year old Indian girl, Pinki’s journey from being born with a cleft lip to undergoing a plastic surgery and transforming into a normal kid has won the Oscar award in the short documentary feature category.
Can cosmetic surgery really affect and improve one’s lifestyle?
“Yes it can.” Assures Anthony Giudice, Cosmetic Harmony Sales Supervisor. Cosmetic Harmony, one of the leading medical tourism companies in Colombia, has been providing state-of-the-art facilities in various cosmetic surgery procedures.
“Our clients when coming to us seem very stressed and unhappy with the way their bodies look. However, same clients look so much satisfied and happy after their cosmetic surgeries which actually give Cosmetic Harmony team a great feeling, maybe even greater than our fees.”
People are opting for so many Lifts these days. How do these Lifts actually help?
“Yes, we do offer Lifts in Cosmetic Harmony that are actually lifting up the lifestyles,” quips Anthony. He explains one by one,
“Brow Lift or forehead lift is for patients who have creases across the forehead or those that occur high on the bridge of the nose, having eyebrows too low or too straight may give an old, tired, sad, or angry look to the face.”
“Face lift or rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure used to lift facial tissue and make the skin look young and fresh hiding those age lines. If you feel young and lively, but your mirror no longer shows you that image, a face lift may be of great help to you.”
“Neck lift surgery is for those people whose necks show signs of premature aging or have hanging skin due to hereditary factors.”
“Arm lift or brachioplasty is a surgical procedure used to remove the excess skin and fat that make your arms look ’saggy’.”
“Breast uplift or mastopexy is a surgical procedure used to lift sagging breasts (ptosis) and give them a better shape.”
“Lastly, the frequently photographed backsides of celebrities are, apparently, the proof enough that the butt is quickly becoming the most scrutinized body part. Cosmetic Harmony offers two surgical options that have very satisfactory results to those who are not happy with the volume or shape of their buttocks and wish they were bigger: silicone implants and microfat grafting also known as Brazilian Butt lift, that is, fat collected from other areas of the body is injected on the buttocks.”
“Do you need a Lift? Try us.” Anthony signs off.

If you are tired of looking into the mirror and seeing someone who looks…well…tired, blepharoplasty may be a great option for you.
Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) can work wonders for rejuvenating and restoring a youthful, alert appearance. The adage, “Your eyes are the windows to your soul” is correct. All day long, we look at people and they look back at us. For those of us who are getting a bit older, the thin skin of our eyelids responds to gravity by bagging, sagging, and making us look older than we feel.
In some cases, eyelid skin loses so much elasticity that the upper eyelids hang over the eyes and interfere with vision. This condition is known as ptosis. In other cases, the eyelids not only hang down, but fatty deposits make them look puffy and unhealthy. Blepharoplasty is most often performed as a cosmetic procedure to make the eyes appear more alert and refreshed. However, when the upper eyelid droops so severely that vision is blocked, the procedure becomes a medical one to remove the interfering tissue.
The lower eyelids can also contribute to baggy-looking eyes with puffiness, extra skin and tiny fat deposits.
The Blepharoplasty Procedure
Blepharoplasty is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia. Tiny incisions in the eyelid’s natural crease are created during upper eyelid surgery to remove excess skin and to grade and sculpt the fat that causes lid puffiness.
For the lower lids, a procedure known as transconjunctival blepharoplasty is used to make a small incision inside the lower eyelid so that the surgeon can sculpt and remove excess orbital fat without removing any skin. Dissolvable sutures are used to close the incisions.
The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) reports that blepharoplasty was the third most popular cosmetic surgery in 2007, after liposuction and breast augmentation.
Treating Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Some individuals choosing eyelid surgery, also want treatment for fine lines around the eyes. Blepharoplasty does not treat fine lines, but additional treatments, such as Botox®, can. Botox is an excellent choice for treating crow’s feet, frown lines and horizontal forehead lines.
Individuals who are best suited to eyelid surgery do not smoke, have no chronic illness such as diabetes or HIV, and have no serious eye conditions such as Dry Eye Syndrome. If you are in good health and have realistic expectations for the outcome, you may be an excellent candidate for eyelid surgery.
When blepharoplasty is performed by a highly qualified and experienced eye surgeon, it is very safe. Be completely honest with your eye doctor about your health history and lifestyle prior to your procedure. Also follow your doctor’s orders to the letter during recovery and you will already be on your way to a superior outcome.

When choosing a plastic surgeon, it is important that you select an experienced and highly trained professional to perform your procedure(s). Should any complications arise during surgery; a knowledgeable and experienced plastic surgeon will be better equipped to handle that situation. Also, a plastic surgeon that has performed countless plastic surgery procedures has had time to perfect their techniques.
Here are some guidelines to follow when choosing a plastic surgeon:
- You should find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This certification is an indication that your plastic surgeon has undergone the additional training in field of aesthetic plastic surgery. Certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery also indicates that your plastic surgeon has obtained his or her degree from a reputable medical institution and has completed five years of additional residency.
- All highly regarded plastic surgeons should have privileges to perform cosmetic surgery procedures at accredited hospitals.
- Be sure to request before and after photos of patients who have undergone the plastic surgery procedures that you are interested in. Do not be shy when asking your prospective surgeon questions about their technique, potential scarring, etc.
- When possible, talk to past patients about their work, and their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with it. Ask them if they had it to do over again, would they do it the same way?
- And one of the most important factors in selecting a plastic surgeon is your personal comfort level with him or her. You need to be comfortable asking detailed questions about your cosmetic surgery procedure so that you are able to make an educated final decision about your surgery.
- Never choose a plastic surgeon solely on the basis of cost. Lower cost can often translate into a lower quality job, and can require follow up surgeries that can add up to be much more than the original cost of a higher quality procedure. In addition, a cheap plastic surgery job can result in complications that may leave you permanently disfigured or badly scarred. Nor does a higher cost automatically translate into a better procedure.
Importance of board certification
Board certification can be confusing. Many plastic surgeons promote a hodgepodge of memberships in various societies and multiple board certifications. Know that all certifying boards require different amounts of surgical training and experience. You should try your best to be aware of these varying requirements.
Put simply: all board-certified physicians are not equally trained for certain cosmetic surgery procedures. While membership in a society or board certification doesn’t guarantees a successful surgery, some certifying boards do require extensive medical training and experience. If your prospective plastic surgeon is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, you can be confident that he or she has undergone specific and rigorous surgical education and training.
Check the credentials
It is also a good idea to start by calling the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (toll-free at 1-888-4-PLASTIC, or 1-888-475-2784) to get a list of plastic surgeons in your area who perform a certain procedure and are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This will weed out all the underqualified plastic surgeons and give you a good place to start you search for best surgeon to meet your needs.

Before and after breast enhancement photos on the internet are typically one of the first ways you may want to research the possible results of breast augmentation. Viewing photos of other women with similar body types is often inspiring in terms of how breast implants might look like you. What is the best way to preview how various breast implant sizes will look like on your body?
There are hundreds of websites that have before and after breast enlargement photos. Some sites are fairly basic, offering a single page of a few different patients who have undergone breast augmentation. Other websites are more sophisticated, offering hundreds of before and after photos while offering you the option of focusing your search on women with similar breast enlargements. For example, some websites offer a searchable database that allows you to find pictures of women who had an A cup to D cup breast augmentation.
If you are researching breast enhancement this is an important way to start the process for a couple of reasons. The first, and perhaps most important, is to research the work of various plastic surgeons. As an invasive surgery, you will definitely want to see the work of your plastic surgeon before you undergo the procedure. Another important reason is pure motivation. By viewing before and after photos of other women you can begin to see how different breast implant sizes will look in terms of increasing breast size.
But will you look like these breast enhancement photos on the internet? If you are just beginning to research breast augmentation one of the most important things for you to know is that differing breast implant sizes will often look different on your body versus the woman’s body on the internet. While you might find a photo of a woman with a similar breast enlargement, similar body type, similar weight and height, the same breast implant size (such as 350cc, or 500cc) may very well look different on you.
The photo on the internet simply does not tell you the whole story. What is her exact height? What is her breast width? What is her shoulder width? Was the breast implant placed over or under the muscle?
Understand these photos for what they are which is primarily inspiration. The best way for you to preview how you might look like with breast implants is through the use of breast implant sizers. By using a breast implant sizing system you can not only see what you will look like with various breast implant sizes, but you can actually see and feel the difference on your own body.
Avoid the most common mistake in breast enhancement by choosing the right size of breast implants the first time with the Purlz Breast Sizing System.

Cosmetic surgery has been a godsend for individuals who desire physical change; change that only a licensed doctor specializing in facelifts and chemical peels can offer them. The resulting effects can result in a great boost to self-esteem; healing, restoring and enhancing people’s physical attributes.
But many people come out of the operating room dissatisfied with what they have. They feel that plastic surgery in all its many forms have changed little in their lives. They begin to regret the money they spent, pain endured and the healing time required.
What separates those who benefit from cosmetic surgery and those that suffer from its effects are simple: their reasons for choosing to get cosmetic surgery.
Individuals who are able to clearly and realistically identify their reasons for getting plastic surgery will be able to reap the benefits that it has to offer them. Yet many people fail to realize how important clearly identifying their reasons for getting this kind of surgery – they are the ones who end up disillusioned and disappointed.
So before you or anyone you know opts for a cosmetic surgery, make sure to keep these four simple questions in mind before committing to the operating table:
What is the reason?
This is the fundamental question you have to ask yourself when opting for cosmetic surgery. Whether it is to fight the effects of aging or to restore a burned face back to its original form and shape, identifying what you want is the first step to a successful cosmetic surgery. It is this reason that will ultimately determine the effect that you are looking for, and will be the key to being satisfied with the results.
What are your expectations?
Once you have the reasons listed down, you then need to focus on the specifics. If finding the reason for getting surgery is the big picture, then identifying your expectations would be the little dots that make up that big picture. Carefully listing down your expectations will help you pen down the list of objectives cosmetic surgery will accomplish; making it easier for both you and your doctor to solve any problems that may come up in the long run.
How will cosmetic surgery meet your expectations?
How much are you willing to invest?
Investment here is not just in terms of money: time, healing and maintenance are other factors that come into play with cosmetic surgery, while an infinite number of social and personal factors will come into play. You have to carefully consider all that is required in order to successfully go through with cosmetic surgery.
These five questions are simple but surprisingly difficult to answer. But as long as you answer them truthfully and without deception to yourself or your surgeon, you will find all that you are looking for with cosmetic surgery.

If you are wondering what’s so good about plastic surgery, then you know there are disadvantages. Mainly, it is the price you have to pay, but nothing is free after all. In the end, the good points of plastic surgery outweigh the bad.
Ask anyone who has had plastic surgery and they will say that they feel more beautiful. It is the client that has the final say on what they want to look like after the procedures, so they will surely feel more attractive based on what they wanted. Being more beautiful has many advantages, and in itself is an advantage. Plastic surgery is one path to achieving or gaining more beauty.
Plastic surgery can make you more confident. If you are not worried about how you look because you know that you are beautiful, then you become more confident and outgoing. Interactions with other people are more open and fun when you can put your attention on the discussion and not on worrying about how you look. More confidence means you can do more without worries, and get more out of life.
With plastic surgery, you can get more friends, being beautiful leads to having many people who want to know you. You can get more friends because you catch attention; those whose attentions you have caught will then want to be acquainted with you. Having more friends and acquaintances serves many purposes. When more people know you, you get more opportunities in this world. With good looks, you open the portals to the great and amazing things this world has to offer, allowing you to have more fun. It is up to you what you do with your acquaintances and pals. Then again, you don’t have to do anything; having many friends just for the sake of it is not so bad.
Another good point about plastic surgery is its ability to erase or mask marks left by your mistakes and disasters of the past. When we are young, we are not very careful and we could end up hurting ourselves. As teenagers we do all sorts of crazy things, some of which get us hurt. All throughout are lives, we are at risk from disasters and injury. These things leave marks and scars, in the literal sense. Plastic surgery can help you let go of the past and move onward to a brighter future.
Beauty has many uses. Perhaps some would say that using beauty to one’s advantage is wrong and unfair, but it is how the world works. Whether we want to admit it or not, the human mind is affected by beauty. It favors beautiful people, and so we do things for the good-looking ones that we would not normally do for others. Whether you use your beauty to spread a belief or noble ideal, or for something as petty as getting closer to the front of the line, you are simply applying your understanding of human nature. If anything else, beauty is a tool to getting what you want.
