More than 18,000,000 males in America alone suffer from ED. While most males who suffer Male Erecticle Dysfunction are over age 60, about 5% of males between the ages of twenty and forty suffer from frequent or persistent MED. Ninety percent of men confessing to having an issue developing or maintaining an erection also have some risk factor for cardiovascular disease, such as smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, hardened arteries, or high cholesterol levels. Drug reactions, depression, nerve damage, and psychological issues are other issues that may add to Male Erecticle Dysfunction. Because the penis needs it’s 3 erectile chambers to become full of blood to actually create the hardness needed for sexual intercourse, if anything prevents the blood flow from being adequate, then the erectile chambers do not become fully engorged.
The concern that their penis is not long or thick enough is another more common issue among males. The average man will consider his penis to be tiny primarily due to the fact that he has only seen other erect penises in pornographic pictures; these penises are oftentimes much longer than the actual average. The average man’s erect penis is between 5 to 6 inches long. Pornographic movie stars, in general, are not like normal people. Also, cutting pubic hair and adjusting camera angles is known by and used by erotica producers. Individuals and things seem to be ten pounds larger on camera. This could be good or could be bad depending on how you want to be perceived. These are two reasons for the recent influx of penis enlargement products. Colon cleanse. The Extenze pill is one of the safest, most affordable enlargement methods, addressing both penis size and erection intensity.
Many males with a variety of different problems related to sexual erection have tried ExtenZe. Some of the benefits have been an elevation of confidence, longer lasting erections, more massive penises and more pleasurable sex lives. If the blood runs to the penis, there will be an improvement. Some men show a more marked improvement just because they needed the extra boost, but even man who do not have an issue with erection size and intensity can answer anyone asking, “Does ExtenZe really work? ” With a resonant “YES!” ExtenZe is a pill with a natural blend of elements that makes the penis larger by filling the 3 erectile chambers with blood. Because the volume is increased the penis gets harder and bigger.
An additional benefit is that the more filled a penis grows during each erection; there is an expansion of the penis tissue. Many males have a retained permanent penis enlargement from sustained use of the ExtenZe or Enzyte pill. Other methods may yield the same results, but oftentimes at a risk, such as heart troubles, permanent damage and impotency, not to mention the high costs involved. ExtenZe does not come with any risks, ensuring a safe, discreet and effective erectile enhancement medicine arrives at your front door.

Science used to be quite cruel. Those who sought beauty had to pay the price through invasive plastic surgery or liposuction. Fortunately, Intense Pulsed Light treatments (IPL) and VelaShape now eliminate the need for these dangerous procedures.
Plastic Surgery
In the past, men and women alike who wished to regain their youthful faces, with firm and unblemished skin, had to go under the knife in plastic surgery. Facelifts were the answer. There have been many botched facelifts, though. Sometimes, the results were unsatisfactory, not living up to promises. At other times, the patients’ faces became quite grotesque. Even worse, the use of general anesthesia in plastic surgery sometimes led to serious cardiac and pulmonary complications and even death. Another risk was deep vein thrombosis or the formation of blood clots in the vein which could also cause death.
Other possible outcomes of plastic surgery of the face were pain, nerve damage resulting in loss of control over facial muscles, facial asymmetry, numbness or loss of skin sensation, excessive bleeding, hematoma or the pooling of blood under the skin, infection, poor wound healing leading to skin necrosis and open sores, fat necrosis forming lumps under the skin, fluid accumulation and swelling, irregular skin contour, scarring, skin discoloration and hair loss.
Liposuction
Another scary procedure from the recent past is liposuction. The earliest type of liposuction, called the dry technique, was the most dangerous. It required general anesthesia, used a six millimeter cannula or stainless steel tube to siphon out fat and resulted in excessive blood loss and, at times, death. The subsequent tumescent technique, which was supposed to be an improvement, uses local anesthesia and a three millimeter cannula with holes punched in the skin for post-operative drainage. It is still quite invasive.
Intense Pulsed Light Treatments (IPL)
Intense Pulsed Light Treatments (IPL) is a laser treatment that achieves skin rejuvenation safely without plastic surgery. It uses flash lamps with full spectrum light that induces the skin to produce collagen, resulting in smoothened wrinkles and facial lines. At the same time, it diminishes pore size and eradicates skin discolorations like brown spots, freckles and blemishes.
Intense Pulsed Light Treatments (IPL) may be used not only on the face but on any body part, as well, such as the neck, décolletage, back, arms and hands. These body parts can be made smooth, wrinkle-free and blemish-free, as well.
But that’s not all that IPL does. It can also zap and erase vascular lesions or spider veins on any part of the body, from the face to the legs. This is another area where plastic surgery used to be the solution, often resulting in even worse scarring. IPL makes treatment so easy and safe.
There’s even more. The exact same Intense Pulsed Light Treatments (IPL) is also the favorite laser hair removal treatment in Tampa. This laser treatment also happens to be a permanent hair removal treatment, with the full spectrum light safely killing off unwanted hair on any part of the body such as the face, ears, underarms, back, legs and even the bikini area.
VelaShape
VelaShape also uses light combined with heat, massage and suction in a non-invasive machine that painlessly and safely breaks down fat deposits and firms the skin, resulting in a slimmer shapelier silhouette with dramatically reduced cellulite. The fat that has been broken down is naturally ejected by the body without any need for liposuction. After all, liposuction, much like other touted cellulite treatments, has been proven to be ineffective against cellulite.
Indeed, Intense Pulsed Light Treatments (IPL) and VelaShape are technological wonders we should be thankful for.

Breast implant surgery is now the leading choice in terms of cosmetic enhancements offered by breast implant surgeons around the Untied States. Statistics will show that the growth of this industry has been massive over the past two decades. Since 1992 when just over 100,000 of these procedures were performed around the United States, there were over 350,000 last year alone.
This steady increase has not been surprising, given the media play regarding the procedure. Breast implant surgery has become so common that television shows like The Doctors TV and Dr. 90210 even film the procedure while in process. With the social acceptance now of breast augmentation, breast implant surgeons have been busier than ever. Even with the downturn in the economy, this popular procedure has still been popular. Why are so many women in choosing breast implant surgery?
One of the most significant reasons is clearly the noticeable impact of the procedure. Unlike other cosmetic enhancements, breast implant surgery is almost immediately noticed. A woman can go from a AA bra size to a C cup, D cup, even DD cup within the hourlong surgery. Her actual physique changes radically within a very short period of time.
Breast implant surgeons report that there have been recent advancements that have made this surgery easier than ever to go through. While the pain of the surgery is real, the experience now of going through the surgery is easier due to the surgeons understanding of how to minimize the pain and to speed up the recovery process. With modern day compression garments and associated apparel, the recovery process can be quicker and less painful than in years past.
Silicone Breast Implants Spark Interest
Silicone breast implants have also increased interest in breast implant surgery because they were re-approved by the FDA in 2006. During a 14 year ban there were thousands of trials done by specialized surgeons around the United States. The trials were highly satisfactory and now silicone breast implants are a very common choice for women.
Women choose breast implant surgery for a wide variety of reasons. The most common reason is the most basic which is that they simply want to feel better about their breast size. Recent studies show that the choice for the procedure rarely has to do with the opinion of anyone else, including that of a significant other.
Surgery Costs
The cost for the surgery is generally around four to six thousand dollars, though some specialized doctors may charge more for unique procedures. The cost of silicone implants versus saline implants can raise the cost of breast implant surgery by as much as a thousand dollars.
If you are in the early stages of researching this popular procedure you will want to learn as much as you can through research on the internet prior to your consultation with a breast implant surgeon. If you understand at least the basics you will be more likely to have a successful consultation. Is breast augmentation here to stay? It appears that this procedure has become a fixture in the world of modern medicine.
If you are considering breast implant surgery, one of your critical decisions will be regarding what breast implant sizes you will want to choose. Now you can try on various sizes with the Purlz Breast Sizing System!

If you are one of the men and women who have been thinking of getting a Tummy Tuck surgery done, you must get your facts right about the procedure. Though no one can replace an expert surgeon’s opinion about your particular case, knowing a few things definitely help you during your consultation with the surgeon.
- Abdominoplasty is a major surgical procedure which flattens your abdomen by removing extra fat and skin and tightening abdomen muscles. Abdominoplasty restores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer
- The procedure is done under general anesthesia and takes 2-4 hours.
- Hospitalization of 3-4 days is required and total recovery takes about 2 weeks.
- The reason of a drooping or protruding abdomen is mostly a big change of abdomen’s weight or volume.
- In women it is mostly after pregnancy or weight reduction. For men that were obese at one point in their lives and they still have excess skin in abdominal area after weight reduction.
When is Liposuction sufficient
- Liposuction is sufficient when the skin is in good shape with no scars and when there is not much excess skin and muscle diastasis. Liposuction is more often recommended, mainly to younger people with more elastic and adjustable skin.
Good candidate for Abdominoplasty Surgery
If you have:
- Flabby, overhanging tummy or excess or loose sagging abdominal skin
- Are close to your ideal body weight (within 30%)
- Weakened abdominal muscles from pregnancy or aging
- Stretch marks after pregnancy or old surgical scars
- Wants to remove specific areas of loose skin or fat that is diet- and exercise-resistant
- Has good skin tone and elasticity
- Have realistic expectations and are emotionally stable
Please note:
Tummy tuck or Abdominoplasty does not treat obesity. If you suffer from obesity, and have BMI > 34 or > 31, you need weight reduction surgery.
There are mainly three types of Abdominoplasty surgeries that are performed: Complete Abdominoplasty, Modiefied Abdominoplasty and Mini Abdominoplasty.

The world of plastic and cosmetic surgery has blossomed into a multi-billion dollar industry in recent years. The abundance of demand for enhancement and augmentation has also been mirrored by an abundance of supply – the number of plastic surgeons and clinics offering cosmetic or plastic procedures has risen at a stellar rate, one which unfortunately has meant that not all offering the service have the proper credentials to be performing such delicate operations, and many people wanting surgery are unwisely seeking cheaper procedures offshore.
This is why if you have decided that you want cosmetic enhancement, such as breast enlargement or augmentation finding a board certified plastic surgeon is a must.
What is meant by ‘board certified’?
The American Board of Plastic Surgery is the largest organization specializing in plastic surgery in the world. It was established in order to provide consistently high standards and to regulate the plastic surgery industry. When a surgeon is board certified, it means that they have completed a plastic surgery residency – a minimum of three years on top of their surgical studies which is usually around six years. They will then have to pass the board examination in order for them to be eligible for board certification.
It is important to note that cosmetic and plastic surgery are two different disciplines, so a cosmetic surgeon may be qualified to practice without being certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon though, it is essential to go with a certified practitioner because you know that there is a regulatory body behind them with extremely high standards that members must maintain.
Board certified practitioners should not cost any more than other qualified surgeons, as competition will keep prices within a reasonably stable medium. Just be wary of surgeons offering procedures far below the average – you will find that most that do are not certified.
Board certification, whilst an important first step, should not be the only requirement you look for in a practitioner. Specialisation in cosmetic enhancement and augmentation is extremely important when finding a surgeon for breast enlargement or any other procedure, as some plastic surgeons are not specialised in these areas, rather in reconstruction and post-accident surgery such as skin graphing etc. You should approach your search as you would approach finding any other health care professional – after all, you wouldn’t go to an stomach specialist for a chest infection.
Finding a certified surgeon in your area
Finding a certified surgeon close to you shouldn’t be too hard, in fact the American Board of Plastic Surgery has made it super easy – they have a referral page on their website which allows you to search surgeons by their locale. They also allow you to search surgeons by surname – so if you have found a surgeon but are not sure if they are certified you can check discreetly online.
Finding the right plastic surgeon for your procedure is they key step to finding the new you – so make sure you do your research, and find a board certified plastic surgeon.
When you are ready to find a plastic surgeon there are many resources on the Web. Try the L.W. Gatz directory to find a plastic surgeon in your area!

Due to the aging process, facial features sag and frown lines deepen. Trauma can also cause facial sagging and drooping. A forehead lift reverses this process. The face looks more refreshed and has a less tired look. A forehead lift is also known as an endobrow lift, an open brow lift, and a temporal lift.
A good candidate for a forehead lift has:
- Sagging brows that give a sad or tired look
- Deep horizontal creases in the forehead
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
Most candidates for this type of surgery are in the forty to sixty year old age group. Younger people who have sagging brows and are thought to have a “depressed” or “sad” expression because of them also seek out this procedure. When the sagging brows actually obstruct vision, this is considered reconstructive surgery and not a cosmetic procedure.
A forehead lift is usually performed in the surgeon’s office or a hospital. Either a local anesthetic with sedation or general anesthetic is used. The actual forehead lift procedure takes less than an hour as an outpatient.
Recovery time and results vary from individual to individual, but pain is minimal and easily controlled with over-the-counter pain medication. Patients return to normal daily activities in about one week. Complications are rare and not severe if they even occur at all. The primary risk, as with any surgical procedure, is infection at the site of the surgery. The benefits include a more youthful, refreshed appearance and increased self-confidence.
Successful facial cosmetic surgery results from good communication between the patient and surgeon. After consulting with your surgeon you should have a goal and realistic expectations of achieving that goal.
If you live in La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe or San Diego, California and the surrounding area and you would like more information in reference to a forehead lift, please visit the website of California cosmetic surgeons, Wendell Smoot, M.D., F.A.C.S. and John Smoot, M.D., F.A.C.S. at Cosmetic Plastic Surgery today.

Laser hair removal is a phrase that is very common now and is a cosmetic surgery that many people, especially women go for. The medical term for laser hair removal is photo-epilation or phototricholysis. Laser method of hair removal will mean that there is freedom from the regular sessions of waxing at the parlors. You can remove the unwanted hair from your body with the laser hair removal technique.
Excessive hair growth in the body happens due to medications, malnutrition, hormonal causes, tumors, heredity or metabolic problems.
The hair removal lasers target melanin in the area which causes hair growth. Hair has two kinds of melanin – eumelanin and pheomelanin. There is a selective absorption of laser light photons and owing to this the hair which can be removed is either black or brown in color. Laser hair removal is sought by both men and women. The body parts which are normally subject to laser hair removal are the underarms, lip, back, shoulders, chin, ear lobe, buttocks, bikini lines, pubic area, abdomen, face, thighs, cleavage, hands, neck, arms, legs, chest and toes.
This form of hair removal technique is also effective for pseudofolliculitis barbae or the ingrown hair. Laser hair removal has been found to be a treatment for the congenital disease called pilonidal cysts; the laser rays help in the elimination of the ingrown hairs that is the source of the disturbing foreign body reactions in this disease.
Dark hair and light skin is the best combination for the laser technique to work effectively. There are many laser wavelengths that have been used for the removal of hair. The wavelengths range from visible light to may be infrared radiation. The laser wavelength is measured in nanometers.
The sessions
There may be many laser hair removal sessions that a person may have to go through when doing away with unwanted body hair. The number of sessions required will depend on certain factors like:
* The area of the body that is being laser treated
* The coarseness of the body hair
* The color of the skin
* The gender of the person undergoing laser hair removal
There are intervals between each laser hair removal session. The interval may be of 3 to 12 weeks.
Laser therapy of removing hair have risk factors also; there may be chances of the skin being burnt in the process or may be discoloring of the dark skin. Normally, you do not have any fears if you get the hair removal done by a reputed cosmetologist.

I have never been a particular fan of Michael Jackson’s music, only really liking a handful of his songs, but I have always admired his showmanship and ability to continue producing more music, in spite of his troubled private life.
Hearing the news of his untimely death was a shock to everybody. Anybody under the age of 45 has grown up with his music which has covered 4 decades! Love or hate his music, everybody has heard it and you can only admire his musical talent and stamina for producing so much.
As I was watching footage of his extraordinary life from child phenomenon to the King of Pop, I cannot help feeling sad that his life cannot have been a happy one.
Looking at the physical transformation from the happy smiling child Michael was when he first sang with his siblings to the sad, pinched and pale Michael of recent years, it amazes me what somebody will do to change their appearance to “conform” to an image they perceive as “the look”.
Plastic surgery, Botox and many other cosmetic surgical procedures are becoming more and more common place and are no longer prohibited to movie stars, pop singers and celebrities. Ordinary women and men are resorting to the surgeon’s knife. I find this a frightening trend and one that suggests that there is only one “look” that is beautiful.
By concentrating on the good bits and showing them to their best advantage, we can ignore the bad bits and nobody will notice.
Focusing on these “good” features will give you confidence to celebrate the body you have, without resorting to major surgery which carries risks that, in my opinion are not worth taking.
Michael Jackson didn’t focus on the good things in his life and in his appearance. I do not believe that his unhappy life was made any better by his tranformation of his facial features. His childhood difficulties and somewhat dramatic life will be debated for many years but for “ordinary” men and women learning to love ourselves as we are, is not an impossible dream.

Up until recently, if you were suffering from hypotrichosis, a condition involving inadequate or sparse eyelashes, there was no federally approved remedy for cosmetically enhancing your eyelashes. Fortunately, in December 2008, the FDA approved a thrilling new product called Latisse™ to help treat hypotrichosis. Latisse™ helps to lengthen, thicken, and darken existing eyelashes.
Inadequate or sparse eyelash growth can often cause embarrassment, a feeling of insecurity, or social discomfort. Artificial lashes can be an inconvenience and cause irritation. Latisse™ is a safe and effective way to enhance short, thin lashes.
How Does Latisse™ Work?
Latisse™ works gradually and effectively by lengthening the growth phase of eyelashes, as well as increasing the number of hairs that grow during that phase. Latisse™ is a topical solution that is applied nightly to the eyelids for four months. Before applying Latisse™ to your eyelids you should:
- Thoroughly wash your face to ensure that it is clean.
- Remove makeup, leaving no oily residue.
- Take out contact lenses.
- Place one drop of Latisse™ on tip of applicator.
- Draw applicator along skin of the eyelid margin- where the eyelashes meet the skin.
- Repeat the process on the other eye.
It is important to apply the Latisse™ to only the upper eyelid, due to possible side effects on the lower eyelid. It is recommended to apply Latisse™ nightly, as it works best while you sleep, absorbing into the eyelid skin, which contains the eyelash hair follicles.
What Should I Expect?
Latisse™ is a gradual solution that produces full results in 12 to 16 weeks. Most patients start to see their eyelashes getting longer, darker, and fuller after 8 weeks. There are some mild side effects such as itchy eyes and eye redness. However, most users found they went away after accustoming themselves to the proper use of the product. When Latisse™ is used according to the directions it is a very safe and effective product that will visibly improve your eyelashes.
Consultation with Eye Care Professionals
It is important with any prescription treatment to thoroughly consult with licensed and knowledgeable professionals. They can work out a treatment that is best suited to you and your needs and will guide you through the process.
If you live in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina community and are interested in learning more about Latisse™ treatment for your eyelashes, please visit the website of Horizon Eye Care.

Since you can remember, you have put so much effort into trying to lose the stubborn fatty bulges around your stomach. No matter what you do, the loose skin from your pregnancies or weight loss won’t go away, causing you to feel self-conscious and sometimes, unattractive.
You don’t have to give up – there is a way to get a smoother and shapelier torso. If you’re ready to see results, tummy tuck surgery may be your answer. Tummy tuck, also known as Abdominoplasty, is designed to contour, flatten and firm the abdominal region.
By having a tummy tuck, excess skin and fat are surgically removed from the abdominal region. The underlying muscles are also tightened, which creates a slimmer contour. Tummy tuck also helps define the waist. Although this procedure can be beneficial, it is considered to be a major surgery. This means that not everyone makes a good candidate.
If you are considering a tummy tuck, here are a few things you should know about this procedure.
- The main purpose of tummy tuck surgery is to change the shape of the body and that it does not result in weight loss. In other words, tummy tuck procedures are performed to enhance body shape, not create a perfect body. Patients need to set realistic expectations for themselves and be careful not to think that having tummy tuck will be an answer to dieting and exercising.
- Tummy tuck surgery requires a long incision, which means you may be left with a scar after recovery. The scar is typically covered by underwear or swimming suits and become faint overtime.
- If your fatty deposits or excess skin is concentrated below your belly button, a mini tummy tuck might be a good option for you. Mini tummy tuck requires a smaller incision and the consequent scar is much smaller than that of a full tummy tuck.
- If you are a smoker, it is recommended to quit smoking at least 2 weeks prior to surgery. Smoking prolongs recovery and increases the risks of complications.
- When tummy tuck is combined with liposuction, it might bring out desired results. Your plastic surgeon will advise you if combining liposuction with tummy tuck is right for your needs.
- It is a good idea to speak to a board-certified plastic surgeon about tummy tuck or about alternatives, to make sure you go through the procedure that’s right for you. Board Certified Plastic Surgeons have the necessary knowledge and training background in dealing with tummy tuck and other cosmetic surgery procedures.
- Tummy tuck results can last a long time if you stay active and eat right. Excessive weight gain after the procedure can cause your skin tissues to stretch and create bulges.
Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon about the advantages and disadvantages of having a tummy tuck. Your plastic surgeon can advise you on your options, inform you about the risks, recovery time and provide you with details about the procedure. You should also keep in mind that with tummy tuck or any major surgical procedure, recovery times may be lengthy and it may limit daily routines and activities.
